GRETA HOUSE

All walls in this single-storey home were originally painted in Dulux Lexicon White. For anyone familiar with paint tones, Lexicon carries a blue undertone and sits firmly in the cool-white category, which can often leave spaces feeling flat and clinical.

My client already spends long days working in a hospital environment, so recreating that same sterile feeling at home was the last thing she wanted. The brief quickly became about warmth, comfort, and creating a space that felt calm and nurturing at the end of a busy day.

She was brave enough to place her trust in me with the colour selection and even embraced my suggestion to fully colour-block the entire room from floor to ceiling.

Because each room in the home is visually connected and can be seen through from one space to the next, it was essential that every colour worked harmoniously together, creating a cohesive flow while still allowing each room to have its own personality. 🧡
